Default what were ford engineer thinking 2011 5.0

so i was told today that the tube that is circled in red all it does is runs into the cab so we can here the motor better .

Go back and read all the articles on WHY they did this...

SUMMARY: because the car stock is so damn QUIET you can't hear the engine, I just plugged mine on the 2010....

the same thing goes for cats.
does nothing for your car, only emissions. which most of us take out anyways.
its one more thing to break and fix. unless you remove it.

mine is coming out when my supershaker gets installed. Gonna use the hole for all my gauge connections.

FYI. the soundtube started in 2010 GT not 2011.
