Very nice catch can. I'm surprised it came with heater hose though ... you don't want to use that. Heat is not the issue like Moroso mentions and they completely dodged the oil compatibility question. You need something that's suitable for fuel applications, like fuel hose, otherwise the oils will penetrate, deteriorate and swell the rubber.

You are correct, this is what I have on order...

High Temp Vacuum Hose (Black Hose) - P/N FBN0800 ($3.83/ft)
Application: Gasoline, fuel and oils reinforced with textile braid.

Here's mine. I used the stock bracket, 2 Lowes brass elbows, and removed the lame plastic breather...Keep it as simple as possible.

Very clean install, nice job on the bracket for mounting to the strut tower.

I'm surprised that it uses 3/8" hose. I thought the stock hose was 5/8". Am I wrong?

Edit: I meant the Moroso hose is 3/8". I see you ordered the 1/2".

If you re-use the stock quick-release adapters, you need 1/2" hose.

The response was from Summit Racing (one of the distributors for Moroso), I assume Summit supplies the hose.....The P/N that I referenced in the original post is the proper hose.

I noticed oil in my intake manifold when I installed delete plates, so I would say there is a benefit for N/A Mustangs.

I installed a catch can last weekend. I can't wait to see what I get after a few hundred miles...
