I'm still about 2-3 months out from having the funds to get the m-90 and VMP kit. Still debating on going with the r2300 over the M-90 since having the VMP kit puts me at about the same price but if I go with the M-90 I'll buy the tool off you. If you get an offer before, take it as I'm not 100% at this point as I have to see what my tax return will be this year but if it's the same or better from last year I'm taking the FI plunge :-) If I do go with the M-90 I'll hit you up and see if you still have the puller.
If you can swing the R2300.. GET the R2300
The great thing about the M90 is that it can be bought in stages.. the supercharger, then the 500hp tune, then upgrading the heat exchanger if you cannot afford things all at once.
But you're 100% correct about it being the same for the much larger more powerful R2300 kit. Runs cooler, more power on less boost, more torque down low. Just keep in mind, you'll have to underdrive the kit or you'll be making too much power with the stock 11-12psi pulley set up. Run 7-8 and you should be okay. I read about some guys over at FNSweet making 525whp on the stock motor! Yikes.. I wouldn't trust myself rofl
Expect 450-490whp EASILY on the R2300, vs an average of 400-420whp on the M90 running at it's near max potential.
Imagine the M90 being a bantam weight boxer with great balance of power and skill, and the R2300 being the much larger brute heavy weight knock out puncher lulz
