Exclamation Mother f'ing O2 Extensions...Help please

1/2 way done with my LT install right now. Went to plug in the passenger side O2 extension and connect the sensor.

The extension won't connect with the front sensors. The guide pins are 180 degrees off. Fits the rear sensors perfectly though.

So are there front extensions and seperate rear extensions? The ones I have are BBK. I have this feeling I wasted $40 (tune turns rears off)...and that I'm about to do some soldering and lengthening of the fronts harness. Seems nothing about this install will go right

pics of what I'm talking about
front connector and O2 extension

rear connector and O2 extension

btw, LT installs suck major ***. driver side had better go better.

Just snip the guide pins. Thats what I did and most people do. With my Pypes headers I only needed one extension for the passenger side front sensor. The factory connector on the driver side front has extra slack that must be pulled loose to reach the front sensor. The rear sensors going to the OR/H pipe were no problem.

I had to snip mine as well if I remember correctly.

Header install is prolly the most frustrating mod you'll ever do, but it's so worth it when you hear how heavy your car breathes.

alright, I'll try that. seems that reversing the wires would cause issues, but I guess the sensor works either way though.

shame I have to work 24 hours today. I was really hoping to have the car running by today. hopefully tomorrow
