I have a 2006 black GT on order but it's not scheduled for build yet and probably wont be until later in september. How long do I have to make changes to it?

Now that people are starting to get their 06's im really liking some of the tungsten and vista blue pics ive been seeing and after reading the horror stories of black cars I just dont think I have the time to keep this thing looking good.

 

I had a similar issue. I decided i wanted to change my transmission over to an automatic.

You basically have until they "pull it" according to my dealer.

My advise is to call your dealer ASAP and talk to someone who knows what they are doing. I called the dealership on a monday to tell them i wanted to add that package and spoke to someone who said they didnt know if it was possible and would have to talk to their contact at ford. Haha...well by friday i still hadn't heard back so i called again and spoke to a different person on the phone that changed it for me on the spot in about 2 minutes. Lucky me, my order got pulled later that day. Image how pissed i would have been...
