V-6 with GT Grill
My dealer got my car out of southern califorina, and it had been "customized" with an aftermarket grill and fog lights, and as far as I can tell , it looks identical to the GT front end. BUT.... parts counters tell me that the bra for the GT will not fit. I am trying to track down the shop that did the work, but right now I have no solution to this problem. Any ideas out there??
Is there a quarter inch overlap of the grille and your bottom bumper? If so, there is a shop called West Coast Performance Parts I believe that has the V6 conversion without a grille replacement.
Streetscene also has a kit now native for the V6 and Casco has a GT conversion kit that is a true bumper replacment.

Charlie at West Coast is a good guy, its probably his mod.

Thanks for the replies, that will help with tracking down the manufacturer of the grill. But I guess my real question was, Am I out of luck putting a full nose bra on my vert? Or maybe there are custom shops that will make a vinyl bra from scratch?
Is it a 2005 or 2006 model, cuz the 06 V6 has a new pony option from the factory which give the car a GT appearnce but he front fog lights are actually a bit smaller (couple other small things set it apart also)
It's an 05 , the dealer apparently sent it out to a shop, much like they do with aftermarket wheels for the showroom beauties. The Ford parts counter guy told me he already tried to fit a factory bra to a V6/gt ,and nothing lines up right... but it should, shouldn't it? LOL
