Speakers are making a static sound
I have the shaker 1000 and all of a sudden my speakers started making a slight static sound when I turn the stereo on. It happens in aux, am/fm doesnt matter which on. When I put the volume up it doesnt get louder, but its still there and you can hear it if the volume is low enough. When the stereo is off the sound goes away. Its very annoying. I dont want to bring it back to the dealership for something like this. Has anyone had this problem yet? I was thinking of disconnecting the battery and seeing if that helps.

I have a similar problem that comes and goes, every now and then i get this odd sounding static in my rear passenger speaker and it sounds like i have a gremlin opening a candy wrapper or something.... scared the **** out of me at first cause i could of swore i was not alone. but it still does it and im sure if there was a gremlin it would have moved on or killed me by now, so im guessing that i may have gotten sand or something from my surfboard in my speaker and since its upwords facing the sand will not bounce out. which speaker is it coming from?
