Default Can some one help?

So as of lately I have noticed that when I go to turn on my car it seems to struggle to turn over. Not only that but I hear a sort of clicking sound coming from my dashboard cluster. Any one have any idea what it might be? Any and all help is welcomed.

Battery. Have your battery and alternator load tested. If you have the OE MotorCrap battery assume it needs replacing. Lots of threads about battery and alternator issues with these S197's.

Where are you located? Colder weather means less battery capacity, even for a healthy battery. Lower capacity and thicker oil in cold weather makes starting tough on any car.

Yeah that was my problem too when I bought the car. The stock factory batteries are pure garbage. Go out and get a duralast, oh and youre gonna have to spring for the gold (or plus?) version of the battery cause the standard duralasts(red top) are too big to fit.

At least that's the case for my 08, I felt retarded when I had to go back into autozone and tell them "It wouldn't fit".

"Built to last Duralast". I will stop by Kragan O'reily this weekend to have them check the battery life on the guy. Gold/Plus, you say?

My v6 has been doing the same thing. Sometimes, mostly when the temp drops below 20, it sounds like it takes longer to start. I have always had the odd clicking, which I was told was just the AC and nothing irregular. But I don't hear it like this in other cars. I'll have to take a vid sometime.

I'd avoid Pep Boys. My car was having trouble turning over, and sometimes wouldn't. I had Pep Boys check the Battery/Alt/Starter and they said everything was fine Kept having the same problem and bought a new battery. So far so good
