I used to run M/T 26x11.5x17" Bias Ply ET Streets out back for track use only (in fact, I just sold them here: https://mustangforums.com/forum/part...s197-rims.html ). They were adequate at the track, but could NEVER be driven on the street even for short distances. I wanted a package that was lighter, looked better and had a larger diameter rear tire that could handle a few street miles. The 15" race stars and M/T ET Street radials fit the bill, but after having them for a few weeks, I realized that even though they were radials and fine for driving to and from the track, the ET Streets were NOT going to cut it for regular street use. That's when I decided to look for a new pair of street meats and the Sportsmans fit the bill.

I'm not going to give my opinion on Nitto Drag Radials, but I will say this, you can't beat Mickey Thompson for radials that hook.

I'm going to try my Nittos at the track this year with the 4.10s. With 3.55 gears I got 1.70 60', which is better than I got twith the MTs. But the MT were alot smaller.

I'm a little jealous. I want some 15x10 wheels with some 28" or 26" slicks.
