the only stock wheels i'd be interested in are the Brembo's. I'll just sell the SC wheels and get aftermarket. I love the RTRs, but it seems like EVERYONE is getting them and i want something a little different

Bingo! The wheels on a GTCS won't fit on the brembo brakes.

I think the better way to go is get a CS as the options on that car will be more costly to add than Brembo brakes and suspension components, most of which many people do anyway.

yep thats what im gonna do. When its all said and done, the only thing not as good or better than the Brembo kit will be the brakes, which as tests show are just as good as the brembos in stopping power -- the only thing they arent as good for is fade resistance.

My plan:

2012 GT/CS Prem (402a) - black outside, black leather/carbon interior
3.55 gears
steeda sport springs/str.t dampers

gonna try to get the dealer to do a straight swap with me before i take delivery -- my CS wheels for a set of brembo wheels. If they wont do that, i'll sell the CS wheels and go aftermarket

Gonna put the order in sometime in the next couple weeks so its here in time for the snow to melt at the end of April/first part of may (hopefully)

Before you order, make the deal contingent on you receiving a set of Brembo wheels, or the black track pack wheels from Ford Racing. The black track pack wheels from Ford Racing are the exact same wheel design as the Brembo wheel, just in a black color.

You better start looking aftermarket now. They aren't going to swap the wheels for you. Not unless there's a used Brembo car on the lot. The [new] car being sold has to have the equipment on the sticker. If they do a swap for you, they would have to put a "second sticker" on the donor car. Two problems with that; 1) who's gonna pay extra for CS wheels and 2) what happens if the buyer demands to have the Brembo wheels in addition to the CS wheels? (They're paying for them, so they have every right to have them.)

If you're going to order the car have the dealer order the parts and install them befor you take delivery. That's what I did in '07 when I ordered mine, all the parts in my sig. except for the wheels (bought those later) I ordered and had installed by the dealer.
