Ford Tech is an idiot...
I guess I'm venting my anger right now. On Saturday, I had my right tailight replaced because one of the square reflector things fell off (as I posted before). It took about 30 minutes to have the new one installed.
So, when I went out to look at it, the jackass who installed it scratched the lip portion of the bumper. I was fuming. I mean, this guy had no respect for my BRAND NEW Mustang.
Well, to make a long story short, they tried to buff it out. It looks better, but I can still see the surface scratches and the nicks in daylight. I was still not satisfied. I spoke to the service advisor and he told me to call him today, so they can see what they can do about it. I'm crossing my fingers.

That sucks man! Black does show every minor scratch. I bumped my front fender with a cardboard box and it left a scratch. I used my buffer/polisher to get some of it out, but i can still see it and know it's there.
Good luck getting it resolved.

Granted the dealership should fix it, but if they don't you may want to invest in a Porter Cable. I have a black escape and there have been some pretty bad scratches in it and the Porter Cable has removed them all. As long as it's not deep enough to be in the paint and only in the clear coat you should be able to get it out.

sounds like they are going to take care of you, not like they told you to screw off
it is aggravating, but as easily as black cars show scratches its hard to say the guy was being abusive with it. He obviously should've taken better care.
