Default Trunk release crapped out

well i am now a couple hundred past warrantie and of course my trunk release had to brake! can anyone tell me if you know the technical term for this part, or a number...? thanks

If this is the actual part the thread writer is referring to, who uses this ? I never had to use mine, and its not like i can even fit my fat a - s in the trunk to lock myself in ?

nope it is the entire elctric assembly... why would i care bout the glow in the dark handle haha

i got it covered under warrantie

ok so im not crazy after all. Ford looked at my car (as i sat in the waiting room for over 3 hours...) and it turns out the entire release assembly is shoot. It is being completely replaced under warranty!!!
