Default 2011 v6 vs. 2005 gt?

how do the two compare? mostly interested as far as handling?

i'm deciding between getting the 11 v6 and 05 gt with ~20k miles. 011 gt is not an option

i've heard a lot of people say that they'd choose an old gt over the new v6 anyways, just wanted to know if that's the general consensus

currently driving an 04 v6.

I believe the 11 v6 may handle better and it's a new car. But you can always upgrade the suspension on the 05 GT. You could probably get a newer model GT for the same price as the 11 v6. Why an 05 GT? Why not an 08/09 GT?

If you look at motor trend they say the v6 handles better than the GT and has better weight ratio, therefore better handling! In a race or 1/4 mile the GT should win because of torque!

the 05 gt i found has red interior with black exterior. sexy as hell if you ask me. plus the price is better than any other i've seen in my area for such low mileage.

HELL YES

I was also going to ask why not an 08/09 GT, but then I saw the color combo and instantly knew why.

Get the GT and put Koni Yellow dampers and Steeda springs on it. It's a winning combination.

if i were you i would save just a little more for the new gt or go with an older gt... nobody wants a v6, there is a lot more pride in a v8 in my opinion... how often do you see a nice muscle car and then sombody says "oh....its v6" then just forget about it lol

I've read that during normal driving the 11 V6 feels like a 4.0 V6, until you get up into the higher RPMs and jump on it! I'd prefer an older 05 - 09 GT and get a better sound too! Just my 2 cents.

No matter how fast a V6 mustang is or can get, they all sound like "****" compared to a V8. No matter what you say, you are still missing 2 cylinders.

I don't want to tick off any V6 owners out there, but it is what it is.
