It says on ebay it's compatible for a 2005-2011 Mustang, and I'd imagine it just requires some wiring.

I bought some to put on my 07. I haven't installed them yet... but they look identical, so I'm almost positive they'll pop right in. I have mycolor in my car that I'll have to tap into... but I'm sure you could find another way to light them up, you probably won't be able to adjust the colors though.

 

Couldn't you tap into the power source that controls the dome lights for when the doors are open?
