I used a 2011 GT500 cluster sine the redline marking is closer to the 2010 GT.

What dealer was able to program the odometer for you? Local speedo shop wants $150 to do it.

Dan, I think the reason you had the initial issues when you did your swap was because you used a 2011 speedo on a 2010. From what I understand after studying up on this stuff and after talking to Steve at Tousley Ford, since the 2011 had options in the speedo cluster (different technology) then it didn't "talk" correctly to your ecu after you made the swap.

If you order (for those interested in doing this in the future) one from a dealer and they order the one that coincides with your VIN number then it should be a direct swap.

We will see about that when I get mine. It shipped today.

Alright, I was wrong.... At least partly anyway.... I tried loading the tune that disables my PATS but no joy, I don't think the tune worked in that area.

I got my new cluster and plugged it in and ran into the same thing DMHINES ran into.... Damn car wouldn't start because of the anti-theft system I'm guessing. I guess the only way to get past this is to have the dealer load the "as-built" data for me. Now the hurdle will be finding a dealer around here smart enough to do that. It won't be easy to find......

Kinda figured, but sorry to hear. Just take a bit longer to get that $300 back.

Anybody have an idea if disabling the PATS system before the cluster swap will solve my problem?
Worst case scenario get 3 new keys cut and have PATS and keys re-programmed by dealer ?

Once that is done push button start installer puts new key behind steering wheel ?
