BMR K-Member & A-Arms_User Opinions Please :D
As part of Grimlock's continued diet plan, I'm going to be getting the BMR K-member and a-arms (nonadjustable). These will take another 36 lbs off the front of the car.
My question is can anybody who has these parts comment on post-installation, driving impressions? When I reached my current weight-loss, I could feel a big improvement. So much so, that I'm going to invest in these pieces to take some more weight off.
Oh, and do you have the regular engine mounts or the 1/2" drop mounts? That is my final decision to make. I guess regardless, 1/2" drop of the motor HAS to improve COG.
Any reviews greatly appreciated.

Well, following up on my post from last month. I guess no one here runs the BMR front end? Well, I can say that the install is very straight forward. BMR provides >>>excellent instructions and all the required hardware.
Driving impressions are that the additional weight off the front end is immediately apparent. There's almost no nose dive now and understeer is gone. I don't have a rear swaybar yet, but even so the car is level around corners and body roll is almost not even there anymore.
One side effect is better acceleration. The stock motor mounts move around as much as ball joints and I was pretty surprised how much play are in the stock mounts. The BMR mounts are polyurethan just like the A-Arm pivot joints. This means practically ZERO play, and I could tell going from a stop. Much tighter all around. No track time yet but I can't wait!!!
This has been an awesome mod and very glad I did it!!! Next is a set of JBA shorties that're going on in the garage this Sat along with Moroso aluminum overflow and power steering tanks. Later this year will be a Shaftmasters DS. I should be close to 3150lbs by then. So far, the mod adventure has been a wonderful learning experience. Good luck on your projects dudes!
