Default 2011 gt wheel upgrade

Trying to decide which wheels to get for my 11 gt. Leaning towards chrome bullitts. Cant decide between 18 or 20 inch. Want staggered as well. Anyone have pics of these on their car?

Is your car a daily driver or a weekend play/show car?

Well alot of people suggested I didnt go with 20's because of the added weight and the horrible ride, but mine is a daily driver. I still wouldnt suggest going with 20's though because of the sluggishness you may feel due to the added weight. Also I suggest you do go staggered since its a weekend ride and you dont have to rotate tires.

I think what should matter to you more than the wheel weight effects would be the average road conditions in your area. With similar outer diameter tires, the 18"-ers will have another inch of sidewall to absorb pothole impacts and such. Think fewer pinch flats and bent wheel flanges if your roads are in poorish condition.

The 2008 GT500 wheel/tire setup was 255/45-18 front and 285/40-18 rear, all on 18 x 9.5 x +45mm offset wheels. For a staggered setup, I'd shoot for that.

I've been thinking of going to 20's eventually. For some reason, 18's look so small on my stang. Maybe 19's in front and 20's in back. Ill have to decide when I need to replace my stock tires.

I saw some beautiful 20's, these are beautiful looking rims!

Now, for this particular car, they needed the 20" rims because they mounted 15" sic rotors to ALL four wheels!
