Great opportunity to upgrade to some BMR LCA's and swaybar. Then you'll have lube ports (not going to say nipples)... two birds one gun.

WD-40?

You really need to get whatever you use in between the bar and the bushing rather than just spraying the outside and hoping that some of it eventually works its way in. I've used a marine silicone paste of some sort for similar purpose with polyurethane.

I guess I'm worried about spraying something that might degrade the rubber... I know the solvents in some lubricants do not play well with certain polymers. Hmmm...

Whatever you do spray there will only be a temporary fix. I recall the same issue on the 60's Mustang upper control arm bushings. Spray down with WD-40, wait a week or two and the squeak is right back.

Bushing replacement is the only true permanent fix.

Hi grabber blue gt,

Have you been able to get this issue resolved or take it in to your dealer yet? If not, I’d like to check into it for you. Just send me your mileage, dealer, contact info, and VIN.

I would be VERY interested in the result here. I have a little over 1000 miles left on my warranty and would like to have this fixed too...

Deysha I just sent you a message, and thanks for chiming in to help the situation.

I am still getting the squeak, but I am going to take another look at it tomorrow when I lift the car back up. I hope I find the problem, cause the car is 9k miles old and I bought it in august.
