How bad are the base model GT brakes? What benefit will a Daily driver 5.0 see from drilled rotors besides a little weight reduction(how much could it be?) & better looks behind the wheels? Just curious as to why folks are looking to upgrade from factory rotors. I drove my 06GT with factory rotors & brakes. Beat the car like a red headed step child to be honest with ya on friday/saturday nights at the races. Never had a problem with them.

Drilled rotors won't gain you anything but bling. High temp fluid (ate superblue) and decent pads will get you all the braking force you need.
