Default Nitrous setup

With the zex kit from AM it doesnt seem there is any way you can program the nitrous to be off while driving but have it kick in when you want. I know the window switch you can buy controls at what rpms the nitrous kicks in but Im not sure if it also controls if the nitrous is on or not.

Anyone have any knowledge with nitrous?

Nitrous is only on if you have the bottle opened up and the system armed - there is a switch to put power to the system. If the bottle is closed then it will never allow nitrous to flow. Until you turn the bottle on and turn the system on (i.e. hit the red button) it will drive like any other car.

Nitrous is really a track only power adder. It isn't something you carry around in the car "armed and ready" on the street. You will wear out the solenoids by the pressure on them eventually, and refilling the bottle will get to you. I used to go through a bottle with two trips to the track; the second trip it was tough to keep pressure up with the bottle getting low.
