i drove my car for the first time this year and i got a check engine lite with a P0605 code(internal control module read only memory (rom) error. i got it to clear with my sct tuner, then taking the battery terminal off for 20 minutes and then reloading the dyno tune. i drove the car for 30 minutes and the lite stayed off but when i shut it off and restarted it the lite came back on. i got a dyno tune back in sept 2010 and bought my sct tuner then also. could something be wrong with one of them or is it in my computer itself?

 

i was hoping someone could help me with this issue. maybe a new mail order tune from VMP, Blow By Racing or Brenspeed would solve this problem.

 

Not what you'll want to hear, but it sounds like it could be an issue within the PCM (defective/failure in KAM circuits), or, a connector (wire) to the pcm that provides battery power when the car is off.

 

i went to the shop where i got it dynoed. they said 1 in 10 of these 07 and newer mustangs with the whipples they have to go back in to the tune and put a "0" in where the P0605 code is!! it is o.k. now, no light!!
