Default Torque Wrench Settings

I have a quick question,

I have staggered wheels on my 06 GT. My front wheels are 9” with 255-40-18 tires and my rear wheels are 10” with 275-40-18 tires. I also have a 1.5 spacer in the back wheels. I know, I know, I know that some of you might not like the wheels stick out past the rear wheel hub, but it’s my preference.

My question is, how many foot pounds of pressure should I torque my wheels and spacers to? I just got a torque wrench to avoid guestimation and would like to know the proper settings. Any information would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

When I got my tsw's the wheel place told me they always torqued them down from anywhere between 75-85lbs, but I just went with 90 to keep it closer to the stock settings.

As you get all this lb/ft of advice remember to add an additional 5lbs to your tq wrench if you use an extension on it.

as for the tires sticking out past the fenders.............oh gag !!!

Using that link Nuke provided you can find torque specs for most things on your Stang and even procedures for removing things like door panels etc. You should save it somewhere and everyone else who doesn't know about that website should do the same
