I put this in pipes, but it seems like this area has much more traffic....
I have an 09 GT and have been checking out Kooks. Have noticed a better deal on Pypes LT's, but can't seem to find a matching shorty mid-pipe. I have to use Hi-flow catted X pipe due to emissions. Any recommendations or is anyone running something similar that works.
Illinois emissions is what I'll have to pass.....

There are some good combos. I noticed that AM also carries some shorty catted x pipes for long tubes but they are saying that they are specific to the headers (i.e. can only use slp mid pipe with slp headers etc.). I'm just curious how different the design is between all of the long tubes. Not sure if you can mix and match.

Go to the brenspeed site. You can order pypes longtubes with either a h or x pipe and can add in some HF cats. If you want to save some $ I will sell you my pypes HF cats as I had to cut them out since I installed a supercharger. They retail for $200. I will ship them to you for $50. They must be welded in though. They have less than 1000 miles on them. I only used them for 6 months.

With FI you need metallic HF cats, the ones I bought were ceramic. I never planned to go FI but when they put the m90 on sale that cheap, I couldnt pass it up. Eventually the ceramic HF cats would melt and break up. Exhaust gases are much hotter with FI than N/A, so I had to take them out.
