Exactly, a GF always should support your power needs. She probably saw the corvette as a large and fast *****, and wants you to expand accordingly.
A saleen, 10lb set up with Twin fuel pumps giving you around 450-460rwhp, keeping the timing around 16(safe). 285/40/18 rear summer tires, 255/45/18 fronts, 9.5 rims all around. Or the widest tires up to 305 summer tire in rear you can get in 19's or 20's(10"rear wheels).
That is the minimum you'll need. Gears, LT headers, ect..... are all good, but will cost more and more. For now, no matter what, you need the SC, and the dual fuel pump (over 420hp) or else boom boom, and wheels and tires. Erik

Realize that adding another 100+ HP means other items might not cut it such as your tires. Stockers wont do. You will also need to include in your budget a wideband gauge. JDM is having a group buy on the m90 right now. Call them up. Also call brenspeed and talk with those guys. They are always helpful. Plan it all out before you buy anything.

It's gonna take a lot to beat the Vette. You may be able to hang with the base 400hp one, but it'll still take you on the top end imo. Z06? You'd better have power and traction.. even then, I still have money on the Z reeling you in after 140 or so..
I vote Saleen Stage 2 w/cams + Long tubes though
