Default Dr. Colorchip works perfect!

I recently applied Dr. Colorchip on a chip on my hood. It works great, and if you apply multiple layers you can actually fill in the chip. The paint match is spot on, and is easy to apply. I put on thicker layers in order to build up the paint, and let dry for an hour or so in the heat and then used the blending solution.

Here is a before and after photo:

Do you have Sterling Grey? The color code has that and alloy effect and alloy looks more like the Sterling Grey color.

Do they have any kind of guarantee to match? I've seen this and been really curious but not willing to take plunge...now...maybe I will...

Yes, they will match the paint. If the paint they send you the first time is off, you can contact them and they will send you another can of paint. I did not experience this, but it says something to this effect on their website.

Just ordered some, my car came in with a chip on the driver door edge that was covered with touch up. Looks exactly like you'd expect. Hoping to have same results as SLVSTNG09. Coincidently mine is Sterling Grey as well.
