Default Need tire advice!!! Sizing...

I got a pair of rears 285/30/18 and need a size to run up front to match em. Right now I'm running 255/45/18 and it'll squat too low in the *** with that profile. What size should I run up front??

You're running 285/30/18s and 255/45/18s?? thats a thin *** rear tire and a pretty thick front...sidewall wise. Do you have any pictures?? I'd think that it would look kinda ackward.

Plus i'm not really looking to buy any springs or anything. I just about the Sumitomo 275/40/18s from AM for $260 shipped so that'll do for this set. I got 4 285/30/18s though brand new if you wanna buy em

That's a tuff size to work with...too small a diameter for the rears imo.
285/30/18 come in at 24.73 compared to stock 27.17.
Did you get rims with the setup? Because you are gonna need a 10" rim to pull that size tire off...i would say sell em, your fronts are perfect for a staggered filiment if that's the route you want to go.
285/40/18 or 295/45/18 for the rears will be your best bet there.

I just ordered 275/40/18 Sumitomo's from AM...will they go ok with 255/45/18 fronts?? the rear 255/45/18s are BRAND new and the fronts still got good tread so I have a pair to rotate up there...

I'm just worried about getting grip when I get the supercharger next week. The 255s are decent for what I got now...I mean, I can control them to an extent, but I've only got 350whp right now. I'm hoping for 450-470whp with the Saleen S/C

285/40/18s are the best match to the 255/45/18 front tires. The 275/40/18s will have less sidewall when I think the Mustang needs a bit more sidewall on the rear tires than on the front.

Supercharged they probably won't be enought. I would go with the 285 for sure, or even a 295/45/18 for maxium grip off the line. Are you currently lowered?
