Is this normal?
this is why i have a loud exhaust.. lol.. and whatever it doesn't cover i just turn up the radio louder.. (when its on) i've heard some suspension bar bushings creak if they aren't lubed up.. i chased one noise and it ended up being a bumper cover clip.. factory operator forgot to "press firmly" during the install.. but i feel your pain.. that sh*t drives me nuts..
For the squeals, you will get them the first time you drive your car each day because of the rust pdonket mentioned. The rust is a very thin layer and does not hurt anything.
For me, I get the squeal on my front passenger brake.
I purchased a new 2011 GT with Brembo brake package in February. It has about 2800 miles now. I hear a creaking noise (from the front area - springs/suspension?) when I go over a speed bump - at slow/normal speed.
Does anyone else hear this noise? Is it normal?
I am going to take it to the dealer when I can get time off but I wanted to get your input about this in case they tell me that it is considered "normal" and do nothing.
I have not hit any potholes or anything that would potentially cause suspension damage.
Thanks for any help.

The first is the bushings: The bushings could be defective or made from the wrong materials from the parts supplier Ford buys from (this is common from a Chinese supplier; they tend to cheat and use cheaper materials instead of spec materials and still charge Ford full price per unit or they simply allow defective pieces to pass QC to save themselves money hut still screw Ford).
The underside of a Mustang is prone to rust. Don't worry about the rust; it is supposed to happen over the majority of parts on the under side of your car.
The rust can become a problem if the bearings or solid metal bushings are not fortified against this natural and designed rusting. If so, the metal bushings or bearings could be getting rust into them. This could be a source of creaking. If these are metal bushings, you should not have problems through the creaking. But if they are bearings, I am not sure. The problem I guess could happen is if the rust causes them to seize up an you begin to bend parts instead of them rotating freely as designed.
They do rust really quickly, I wondered why that was myself. I mean it doesn't much matter, but aesthetically it's annoying to me. Plus I feel like it's a bad rep to have that every time you start driving your car, you have squeaky breaks.
Not a good rep for ford or mustangs to have when in my case the car is almost brand new.
