Default kooks LT 3" cat h pipe and not GTA'S

i have the 1 3/4" kooks LT and 3" catted h pipe and 08 bullitt axleback. they were too quiet so installed my gta's i had laying around and they sound terrible. too much raspy!!! the bullitts are going back on so if i would cut out the cats that would make exhaust alittle louder and still without the raspy or is there another solution? the gta's weren't bad without the whipple and the kooks!!

Getting rid of the cats will still make it raspy

how about getting rid of the cats and keep the bullitt mufflers? or how about catted h pipe and macs?

Catted or O/R H and MAC will sound awesome. It will be deep, loud and will drone.

It will be louder without cats but it may trumpet. You coould pick up some used axle backs that are considered loud to very loud and try those before you commit to cut out the cats. My setup was loud even with HF cats.
Exhaust is a constant adventure, always looking for that perfect tone. I'm close but still not there myself. Here is a clip of mine.

JBAs would be another good choice. Not as deep as the MACs but still sound good.

Adding 12" resonators would help. Both the JBAs and MACs would still be a little louder than the Bullitt exhaust.
