Bondo will not work on a piece like this. You will have to use something like Durabond.

have not tried vinyl since mine came pre painted like that but I suspect if you prep the surface before application it will hold. If you are going to repair it, why not go with flat black paint?

I don't want to professionally paint it since I don't have that kind of money right now....I was thinking vinyl is cheap...Do you thing if I sanded it down and sprayed it with spray paint it would look right?

A lot of people use a matte black rattle can to touch up their chin when it gets scratches/chips etc so I would imagine it could be done

My whole chin spoiler is painted in it, simple to spray and bonds well.

I kept loosing traction in the snow in a parking spot, so the car kept hitting the parking block...I am atempting to spray it right now..just sanded it down and patched up the crack..waiting for it to dry so I can sand it down...the flat black I got doesn't look to flat to me lol..but we will see..I also order the vinyl to put on top in case I messed the paint job up..

well I just finished...pretty much it was a fail...nothing would really hold the cracked together so instead I just threw on a piece of duck tape which holds it perfectly but looks bad. I will just take it off when I receive the vinyl...

before starting...

sanding...

sanded through the clear-coat..u can see how deep the rock chips got through

tried using drywall tape before applying the bonding stuff

gave up and just put a piece of duct-ape over the crack and painted over it...

A better way to do it would be to reinforce it from the back, then fill the crack in the front. Then you could wrap it in vinyl if you wanted.

However, I will tell you that vinyl doesn't hold up very long on the front of a vehicle, especially on the lower portion of the bumper. When rocks hit it, it simply tears.
