Default FiberGlass hoods

are they junk? a waste of money? suitable for a DD will the break,crack, bow? opinions please! found one on CL for 300

I would shy away from the CL deal. Why would he have 5?? It would suck to pay to have it painted to find its a junk hood. Buy a name brand from AM imo

I like the look of it, and it seems like a good deal im going to call a body shop tomorrow and get paint estimates, but i jsut wanted to get advice from here frist, i have another thread about the hood but it got off topic lol

that hood looks good and if it doesnt look cheaply made when u see it in person I would say its a good deal

pass on it, Trufiber has the same hood and the air rams are functional, these are not functional

Agree, if your going to get a hood get it from a good company like Trufiber so you know your getting a good hood.

All of the fiberglass hoods I have ever saw had waves thru them, obvious poor detail.

When i emailed the seller he said it was tru-fiber and he had one on ebay as tru-fiber with funtical ram air, i know that its not a tru-fiber its a totally differnt design but i didnt argue with the guy, i just thought it wasnt a bad looking hood and good be a good deal, thanks for the input so far!

Well if he told you it was a TrueFiber hood and you know it is not,why would you still even be considering it,at any price?If i knew someone was trying to scam me by lying to me about a product they were selling,i would call that person out or walk away.
