Default Brenspeed custom tunes = Me unlucky:(

HI ALL !

I purchased 3 custom tunes from Brenspeed.

Doug from Brenspeed was really helpful and send me the files to Sweden where i live.

I got 87,91,93 OCT files.

But today when i tried 91 and 93 OCT tunes, it didnt worked

The car is vibrating when i start the engine. The idle rpm goes up and down.
Something is not right. And when i tried to drive the car, the car stopped after 50 meters I changed to stock and had no problems.

What do you think can be wrong guys? I will ofcourse concant Brenspeed about my problem.

When i choose Strategy Tune and and choose 91 OCT and change the shift points to +25%, i get no problems at all. And the car is really good shifting the gears and is good responsiv. I like it really much.

Is +25% for all gears dangerous?

What should i do now guys and girls? Run Stock or Strategy tune for now?

My mods are, Airaid CAI, Ford Racing Exhaust,Ford Racing 1,5 springs,Adjustable Panhard

Dont mess with it and email Brent. Dont drive the car with the CAI and stock tune! Put the stock air cleaner on and load the factory tune.

What he said. Contact brenspeed and they'll fix it up for you. I had troubles with my PCM first and after working with them, I honestly love my tunes now.

If you put in the insert, you can drive with the stock tune and the airaid CAI. I have been doing it for almost 2 years. It is meant for that. I would drive on the stock tune and get in contact with brenspeed so they can fix the problem.

But why cant i drive with the Strategy Tune?

I mean its working perfect with 91 OCT and 25% on all shift points.

No error or any other problem.

I will contact Brenspeed about the custom tunes.

You have 93 octane in the tank? If I was running 87 I would drive it till it had about 5 miles left and then fill up with 93. You have to run the fuel level grade with the specific tune.

I was about to say in Europe they have higher octane fuel, you may also need different spark plugs for the tune and fuel. Did you let the guys and Brenspeed know the octane raring? Many Americans that haven't traveled to Europe don't realize the higher octane over there.

Yes ofcourse.

I told Doug from Brenspeed that i am from Sweden and which octane we have here.

I wrote even to him that we have in Sweden 95 oct wich is the lowest and 98which is like the highest in Sweden.
