Default Throttle body Q

After having removed the throttle body I am curious, Can I re-use the O-ring or do I need to replace this before reinstallation like the Haynes manual says? It's not a big deal if I have to replace it but I could get my car running tonight if I don't need to rather than tuesday when the part comes in. I appreciate your help guys.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to re-use it!

I pull my TB off every year to clean, always reused gasket.

Cool, I'm glad to hear that. The manual says ALWAYS replace it so I wasn't sure. I'm a "weekend mechanic" in training, haha...more like a freshman when it comes to this stuff. I appreciate it guys.

Aslong as the gasket isn't torn or cracked it can be reused multiple times
