If I were you I would spend a few bucks, rent a mustang from Hertz for the weekend and go on a trip. A test drive might not be long enough, you might want to be in the car for a few hours to see if you start to cramp up.

6'4" 260 fit just fine. My right knee took a beaten the first month or two hitting the console. It sat right where it needed to hurt lol. seat back and down, front up Almost bought a 98 blown cobra with a roll cage. Knee's hit dash had to pass.

It's amazing how much room there is with the seats pushed all the way back.

I test drove a new 5.0 Mustang just for the heck of it. I'm only 5'11 but I had a ton of leg room to spare - almost 2ft extra

I find my '05 has plenty of room. I'm 6'2.5 and have no complaints and I have my seat pretty far up. I've fit my 300lb linebacker friends in the back seats too. I get a lot of compliments on how comfortable the front & rear seats are

6'4" talll and 250 lbs and I fit perfect and the most comfortable seats I ever drove in. All you need is a gangsta lean and blast the tunes and youre good.

Totally digging my new GT but would it have killed Ford to provide a telescoping steering wheel? I'm only 6' with a 32 inseam but when I have the seat/steering wheel relationship where I like it, my right knee is up in the corner created by the lower dash panel and console. The non-power seat is ALL the way down. I autocross my (sporty) cars so this is going to be interesting.

Or perhaps someone formerly with Fiat joined the Ford interior design team.

Any other taller guys have any problems with leg room? or is it pretty spacey?
6'5", all the way back and lower the seat some, you should be ok.

Not super spacey as the cockpit is split for driver/passenger with a thick console, but you should be good!
