Grille Compatibility
Well, on American Muscle there is a section for GT grilles and another section for v6 grilles, but don't they use the same fittings and bolt holes? Whats the difference?
I'm considering doing a new grille with fog lights, but I'm not really sure. What is the wiring involved?
Thanks

I don't know the exact reasons for why it doesn't work, but it is not possible to fit a GT grille on a v6 unless you swap over a GT bumper and a few other things. It works the same way with a v6 grille being incompatible on a GT without modification as well.
There are a few people who have done the swap that can tell you more about it, as well as the other parts you need. From what I recall reading you would need the foam and fender liners as well as the opposite bumper from the car you are wanting to convert to.
And if you happen to have the Pony Package, I'm not sure how that changes things. I think I've heard before that it has a GT-sized grille, but it doesn't make sense to me as it has the stock v6 bumper.
