Default Vibration at 2000-2500rpm??

My 05 GT has been parked for a little over a year now, i start it up from time to time and this time i noticed a vibration when i reved it up to 2000-2500 rpm and held it. it went away after that or before those rpms. Any ideas? I did find 3 rodents under the hood but couldnt find any chewed wires... Im thinking moisture or something of the like?
And its been parked because i had lost my job and couldnt afford to buy tires since the ones on it are not state inspectable. Im sure some of you are gonna ask why its parked for so long. ;-)

Was it a metallic rattle? I know alot of members on here, including myself, have a metallic rattling from the exhaust somewhere at the rpm range...

I would drive it for a few days or a week or so and let the car strech its legs then see if it goes away!

05StangZz,

It must have been difficult to look at your Mustang, but not drive it. I'm glad to see you are putting it back on the road. I recommend having your local dealer take a look and make sure everything is functioning correctly. They can determine the source of the vibration, and make sure those rodents did not cause unseen damage. Then you can get back on the road confidently!

baddog671,

Have you contacted your dealer about the exhaust rattle you are experiencing? If they are unable to resolve it, please PM me your VIN, contact info, mileage, and dealer so I can try to assist.

Lol yeah it was very horrible looking at my 30k lawn ornament. As of now I am lucky to even afford the registration and then cheap tires for it, so the dealership will be a little ways off .. But it isnt out of the question, I am hoping the vibration will resolve itself once the car is on the road.. We shall see.
