Seafoam......? I mean I heard it cures diseases, so may it could fix a fuel pump?
Seriously though, hope its only one of the issues above and not a conglomeration of them. Hopefully its only the fuel filter.

TammyT,
Everyone had some really great suggestions. I hope that is able to get your Mustang back up and running smooth. If you are still unable to get it started, I suggest having it taken to the dealer to determine why. They will be able to check it over and determine why it isn't starting. Please let me know if I can be of any help.

As stated earlier, did you mean it cranks but won't turn over? It sounds like that based on it starts with the starting fluid and then dies. It sounds like fuel delivery and since you hear the "hum" of the pump then it could be injectors. Of course, it wouldn't hurt to replace the fuel filter just to be sure (and they tend to begin showing signs of clogging at around 30k miles in some cases). Keep us posted, Tammy.

Wait this is not making sense, if the engine runs with starting fluid then it is sparking. The fuel is not getting to the engine, there has to be a clog somewhere. Tammy did you hit the fuel reset switch?
