Unhappy 2005 GT Help

Hello all,
New to the forum. Need a little help. My 05 has been sitting since December (i know, i know, couldn't be helped) and won't start. Turns over, but wont crank. Any ideas?

Fuel Pump maybe? I worked on a friend's Tahoe, and it would turn over, but not start. We put a little gas in the throttle body and it cranked and then immediately died once the fuel was consumed. It ended up having to have the fuel pump replaced.

are you out of gas? if you left it sitting at a quarter tank then you need to...
1) get a few gallons of gas and put it into the tank
2) put your pedal to the metal 2 times, hold each time for one second
3) try starting the car, it should turn on after 5-8 seconds

(personal experience)

I think you mean it cranks but won't start. First step is to pull any codes (DTCs).

Put new gas in before trying to crank. Brand new battery.

Turn the key all the way to the on position (last position before starting), you should hear the fuel pump come on, do you hear anything?

P.S in the driver's side kickpanel there is a fuel reset button, just below the hood pull. Id give that a shot.

Yes. Very slight low hum. Have made several attemps with starting fluid, but as soon as it burns off engine dies.

I am thinking the old gas has varnished the injectors shut...may have to have them removed and cleaned...
