in my experience your fuel level sensor is bad, but it could be a wiring issue as well.

Would it be bad to drive like this?

Hi MUSTANGEXPERT,

I suggest having your Mustang diagnosed at the dealer to determine why the code is coming up. They will be able to determine why the fuel gauge is having issues, and suggest resolution. Please let me know if I can assist with any concerns.

Run a heavy dose of Techron through the tank... it will remove any sulfur buildup from the sensor...
