Default My new build in progress....




My 550hp motor let go back in February, broke the oil pump at the track. 8.8:1 JE piston/manley rods,stock heads/cams......precision 67mm billet turbo around 15 PSI.Ran 11.3....


NEW motor is:
Livernois 298 stroker
9.1:1
mahle pistons
manley rods
Comp 127300 cams
new lash adjusters
newfollowers
All ARP hardware
all new hot side
meth fogger kit
Billet oil pump
tr6060 6 speed

Also "shaved" the engine bay, welded in all the holes....re-routed all the wiring, tucked the fuse block under the dash....moved the battery to the trunk.....all the wiring was done 2 weeks prior to the old motor letting loose, so i know its all functioning properly!




















this is what the engine bay looked like after i did the wire tuck, before tearing it down for paint.....

new downpipe getting roughed in....








have to get some power steering lines extended....

that about sums up the progress to this point!

whats left:

finish fabbing the hot side
get the hot side "jet hot" coated
alter the valve covers for the breather fittings (weld on some #10 bungs)
add breather cans - one to each side
order tr6060
order clutch
put the engine bay all back together
install motor & tranny
install meth kit
finish up some additional wiring

TUNING!!!!

Very cool! That's quite a project you've got there. How do you find the time to do all of this? Wish I had the time, energy, and money to do this kind of stuff.
