throttle/pedal position sensor/switch a/b voltage correlation is what the code is. what can i do to fix this. i have a huge cruise to go to tomoorow. please help me with your thoughts!!! thank you!!! i did clean intake, throttle body and MAF!!

 

DescriptionThe powertrain control module (PCM) flagged a concern indicating that throttle position (TP) 1 and TP2 disagree by more than a calibrated limit.
Possible CausesTP sensor shorted internally to VREF
TP sensor harness short to voltage
TP sensor signal wires are short together
Damaged TP sensor
Diagnostic AidsCompare the TP1 and TP2 PID values for a full sweep and correlation. Check the wiring harness for an open or a short circuit. Check the TP sensor for an internal open or short circuit. If no circuit concerns are present, install a new TP sensor.

there are 2 tp sensors built into the tb they read inversely of each other. one of them is most likely reading incorrectly. most of the time its a bad throttle body, hope this helps

 

thanks!!! i cleaned the throttle body. i cleared the code and went for a ride and code no lite!!! yet!!!

 

I don't recall what the trigger mileage is for the Stang but my SUV will re-throw a code (for a valid problem) after 20 or 30 miles of being cleared.
