Default Roush sifter arm question

I need a measurement from someone with the Roush shifter arm p/n 69029. I need to know how tall it is from the boot bezel to the top of the ****. I want a taller shifter arm than my Hurst short throw had and seen a 427 R at a car show the other day and it seemed taller than my Hurst, but I don't want to buy one if it is not taller. Also does anyone know if it will bolt up to a Hurst shifter. Any info would be helpful.
Thanks!
Jim

Thanks! That will help a lot. I am going to weld an extension on my Hurst stick first to see if I really like the height.

Although, I don't know if it will bolt up to your Hurst. If you have machining skills, you could probably make it work.

Yeah I can do about anything in my shop I need to for fabrication. How do you like the height of the Roush?

At first, I thought it would be way too high but got used to in with a day or so. Now, I like it, and would not go with a lower handle. But, I also like the "notchiness" of the Roush shifter mechanism as well, and the very short throw. Not sure how the Hurst is, so I can't compare.

The Hurst is a short throw and it is a little notchy...but not bad. I have never missed a shift with it. I added some lenth to the Hurst stick today and am at about 7 1/2" to the top of the ball. I will try that for a few days and see how I like it. I also drilled it such that I can drop back to 6 3/4" as well. Thanks again for your help!

Oh and I put a few degrees tilt toward the driver and away from the dash to make it a little more comfortable.
