Default Feedback please

I own a 2010 GT with Flowmaster American Thunder axel backs among other bolt on mods. The problem I have is with the ridiculous amount of droning that reverberates inside the car around 1800-2000 RPM. I cant take much more and have started looking for other things. I want a deep growl and perhaps a little horsepower gain (i know the mufflers wont add horsepower).

Please take a look at the attached link and provide some feedback. I know about all the Long Tube vs Short tube posts here and the crowd who tend to frown apon the shorties but this seems like a pretty good deal for the money. THe H-pipe combined with the chambered exhause and tuned lenght seems like a decent combo that may gain me about 15-20 horsepower combined with a new tune from Bama?

Thoughts?

If u go with that package make sure u get high flow cats. They will reduce drone and then if there is still too much drone I suggest sound deadening the trunk. There are many places in the trunk that is bare metal and sound travels through it very easy. I also put sound deadening on the backs of my rear seats which really helped

thats a great deal.
but i would get ceramic coated headers, not chrome. to reduce engine temps and the ceramic coating will help it look like new a lot longer than the chrome.
i think with those chambered pypes mufflers it will still drone.
i believe a straight thru muffler drones less than a chambered one, but it really depends on the exhaust system as a whole.
i think you should upgrade the mufflers to boomtubes and maybe upgrade the midpipe to x pipe too.

I have American Thunder flowmasters with cams, longtubes, no cats, supercharger and two sets of resonators......cherry bombs and pypes m80s welded after the h pipe. No drone whatsoever and no trumpeting. Without longtubes and cams I cant imagine it drones at all? Are you sure it nots flowmasters 40s? Are they the rounded edge mufflers or the squared off ones? The rounded ones dont drone.
