Default Shaker hood help

I have a chance to get a smoking deal on a shaker hood scoop system. I believe it is for an 08 Mustang GT, mine is an 06. Does anyone know what the difference might be and if it will work on my car? The 05-06 GT's have a different part # than the 07-09's and I cannot find anything that tells me what the difference is and if it will fit. Thanks for any help!

There is only 1 crucial one I can think of for the head-unit, the antenna connector. You'll need a chrysler to motorola adapter for the 08+'s I think. That is ONLY an example, you will need the female end to adapt it correctly assuming (which I believe is the case) your antenna uses the standard motorola male end. If you're not sure what yours is, take the 10mins to pull apart the console and check. Just pull your antenna connector from the back and verify. You might not have the aux 16pin plug either on your '06, won't effect anything if you don't have it or hook it up. This goes to the center arm-rest console, gives you an input for a 3.5mm audio plug.

Other than those 2 things, dimensions are the same til '09 for the head-units, powering factory amps is the same, etc.. Just likely screwed on the antenna connector. Some left out the radio harness turn-on(12v SJB accessory delay line) in 08+(some '07s too if I recall from a previous thread a bit back), using the can-bus signal instead, but that should be fine as well, since it's still sent in the earlier models I believe.

If you're getting this for the trunk subs/amp on the 1000, I doubt you have the wiring done in yours for it. This you can also check to verify in the trunk.

What is this "deal" exactly? If it includes the door insert cut-outs with the subs because you have/had the base system, or even the 1000 with the rear sub box/amp, great, but other than that, I'd save the money for a good after-market setup.

The word deal and sheitter in the same sentence.
What has this world come to.
Its for sale for a deal for a reason.
Module configuration would be needed....

Ditch the idea for an aftermarket stereo system.

Yeah, forgot about that one.

QFE (Quoted For Emphasis). Unless this is coming with the door-panels you might be missing for shallow mount subs, I can't see this being even remotely worthwhile even for $100 or a bit under. Money that can be used towards something that doesn't suck.

That's so it. I'm rioting.

Free bump then, as I don't know about the CDC shakers differences.

I wish I could answer your question. Since I can't I will emphasize this so you don't get anymore advice on a stereo install. LOL
