RE: 05 mach 1 CJ
[8D]Can't wait to see more pics of your Mach. This thread is almost a golden oldie, but I read through it.
I can't disagree more with what was said about Fords interest in after market products. Ford really pushed for competition with the Mustang at the 2004 SEMA show. As I understand it, they offered a fair amount of engineering support to the aftermarket folks for the competiton. That's were the "Racer boy" that 3D Carbon put together was shown.
I love the fact that we can personalize our Mustangs, make them our own. Meld history with todays technologies. Fairlane292 painted custom flames on his black GT. It's a piece of art. The reality is we own a platform that allows us to be creative. That can't be said about other automotive products. Imagine what flames on a Kia would look like. Scary thought. But it works on a Mustang. I say go nuts.... mod 'em out.
I'll get off the soap box now.

I'd really like to see a high res side profile shot of your car...Ive looked at the pics often(contemplating getting some black reflective stripes myself) and I'm kinda concerned about if stripes can be kept straight at the hockeystick crease...seems to me the stripe would tend to curve a bit from stretching around the inside radius...I really like the look of this car.

I think it looks great. I also think you'll get a fair number of people who will think there is now a Mach 1 option being offered...should be a great conversation starter. [sm=Flahssssss.gif]

Looks great. I love silver/black combination...very tastefull. Mine's silver with a rear blackout panel. I eventually want to add black wheels and maybe a black lower side stripe.
Cracks me up when the customizing police come out to patrol what you do toyour car. Lots of drama on the V6 forum about adding GT stuff. LOL. Who's paying the bills?
