Default Shifting gears

Hello everyone. I have installed a short throw shifter a few months back. Although I love it, I do sometimes notice that it’s hard to put in gear or shift gears while driving. My fluid has recently been changed so I know im good with that. Has anyone notice this happen to them and should I be concerned about this? It does not bother me that much, as it’s just a nuisance. I just don’t want to damage anything. Thanks in advance

What type of shifter? I've got a Hurst thats occasionally hard to shift. There's several how-to's on lubing the hurst with gun oil. That fixes it for several months at least.

I have an MGW and it's def takes more effort to shift.
The shorter it is adjusted, the more effort it takes.
Maybe less leverage because its shorter.
