What the hell did they do to the new v6?? smaller engine 90 more hp? It seems like all v6 now a days have 300 hp.. Now us guys and our outdated v8 (modular) have competition with these 6 cylinders. Torque we only get us off the line a bit quicker if we can get some traction

yup.. they got us by the short hairs...

It actually is pretty amazing when you stop and think about it.. getting that kind of power out of such a small block (I'm not even gonna comment about any 4cyl engines) blah..

I remember when the 87 Buick Grand National came out.. 276hp.. turbo'd v6.. I was like.. WTH?!?! that thing was smoking small blocks (and a few big blocks for that matter) so its not really new, just new to the mustangs.. and if HP is yer game, then yeah, its dis-heartening when you own like what you say..

FI time babeeeee...

I know man.. it's a sad day for the 4.6. My buddy has a stock 2.73 automatic 3.7L. I can obviously run away from a dig or low speed roll, but if we go from 3rd gear roll I jump out a car and then he stays right there. I don't pull AT ALL.

Depressing.

The 1989 SHO was revolutionary with its incredibly powerful 3.0L V6 producing 220hp.

Now, we get beat in a race by Toyota Camrys. How do you think us SHO folk feel?

Technology does indeed suck; our PC's, big screen TV's, smartphones, iPods, etc not withstanding.
