The only REAL reputable clutches out there that people here recommend are the Exedy Clutches, and the Mcleod clutches.

Both are great. The Mcleod RST is the ones most Mclead users get.
They are expensive though.

The Exedy clutches are less expensive and are GREAT.
We had the Exedy Mach 400 in ours. It was wonderful.

I'd stay away from SPEC and to tell you the truth I would not go with RAM either.

I was kinda looking at the Exedy clutch, but with money issues the RAM was looking prettier. Buddy of mine has a Xoom in his 04 which chatters a lot i guess, and i was told buy a coworker that no one in his ford group will use a centerforce...

i have the same clutch in my 2000GT which has full bolt ons.
it is a great clutch if you just have bolt ons or mild mods
I also have a CF DF in my 2007, and it is comparable to the Ram clutch
i have heard of a few others with the Ram clutch and they like it as well
i think for the price it is a great clutch. no complaints from me.
i take my 2000GT to SCCA so it sees some use as well as daily driving.

i've had a Spec stage 2 in my 2000 before the Ram
and the Ram is much, much better. easier feel, more streetable, and still holds the power well.
the Ram is a great clutch if you're on a budget.

Picked up the stang yesterday. The shop owner said i bought a heavy clutch. Damn he was right!! I knew the pedal would feel heavier over stock, but holy hell! I only say that because for the past 2 years i been driving a 5-spd dodge neon. Its not that bad once i drove around for a few minutes in the city.
One thing i did notice other than the heavy pedal was the less play between pressed and depressed. That was the harder thing to get used to.

My main concern with a new clutch was chatter, but i didn't experience any at all until after the car had set for about 9 hours while i was at work. It was about 60 out and i am assuming its mainly because its a brand new clutch? and it was cold compared to warm when i picked the car up.
I will give a new update after the 500 miles of break-in im giving it. But so far i am happy with it and it grabs like Hell!
