Question

anyone knows if this one will work for my 2006?

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-RARE-FORD-LI...sories&vxp=mtr

ebay item # 170704288336 , in case the link doesn't work.

i got the one this thread started with and it works fine technically spoken, it still to big for my taste, and the stock ford 2 piece set-up really doesn't do it for me.

I like the looks of this one better, since the other one from the start of this thread looks kind of bulky. My gf's VW Jetta has the flip key and its ok I guess. My BMW just has a remote fob that I stick in the ignition area to start my car, so no key. Except it does have a hidden key inside the remote if I do need to unlock a door without the remote.

I wish there was a way to have a remote like my friends Camry Hybrid she can leave the keys in her pocket and unlock the doors and start the car without putting them in the ignition.

Does anyone know if this works with a 2011?? I've really wanted a flipkey. I was so disappointed when I got the car and realized it didn't come with one.. Almost all cars do nowadays..

I bought one for my 2008 a few months ago. Programming it was easy with the instructions. Had to program it once for the Ignition, and once for the alarm. As for getting the key cut, I took it apart and just took the key blank down to Home Depot. He cut it and didn't even charge me. My only complaint is that it opens in my pocket from time to time.

Just got it today actually, locksmith couldn't cut it because of the bulky case so I had to take the blank out of the case and then cut it. Programming took like 30 seconds, so much better than the original key.

This is the best version of a flip key i've found for Fords. It's the Mazda flip key but apparently it works for both. My parents rented a Mazda 6 a few years ago that came with this and i spent lots of bored time on that trip playing with the extra key lol.

thinkin bout gettin this one, looks the best outta all the ones i've seen, only thing is the panic button is on the side and it might get bumped easily, the 2011 oem fob isnt bad but not great either

Yea Toyota had it first and GM was smart to take it. All car companies should have this FOB.
