anyone know what getting the new key in the remote cut/programmed would set me back?

thanks!

I would guess that having it cut wouldn't be any more than any other key. If you have two keys programmed you can do it yourself. RTOM

I miss having the key and fob separate. Start the car let either heat or AC run. Lock the car and don't really have to worry.

Blake / Anyone with an 06:

Does this remote actually work in an 06? I bought a similar one a while back, went through the steps... Nothing. Any positive feedback from an 06? Thanks.

Very cool. I might pick one of these up. What are the keys like on new 10+ mustangs are they still the same old keys?

thanks for the reply! sorry to hear some idiot ruined youre key :/

another question.. so i have an extra cut/programmed key and a programmed remote. so my question is can i use my extra key in the new remote because its a hassle to have a 3rd key cut/programmed. Is there anyway to convert my regular key into a flip key?

lol, now that is funny.

Anyway, you do need two keys IIRC to program the new key. it;s been a long time since i did that though. somewhere there is a long thread on this from back when i had my 05 and links to instructions are there.

My buddy has a crossfire and thats how they make there keys. Its not the first time i have seen them. They are cool but my key works just fine. I was thinking of adding remote start to mine some day
