Default Brakelight Button

What up guys, ive got an 07 v6 mustang. I want to wire up a momentary pushbutton to activate the brakelights. Anybody done this? I really just need to know what wires to splice because im sure they are under the rocker somewhere. Its just hard to trace from the brakelight. Thanks!

I can't help you with wire locations, but what you need to do is wire one end of the switch to constant 12v, and the other to a wire spliced into the brake wire. The important part is to make sure you install a diode on the side of the splice towards the stock brake switch to prevent the current from your switch going to the SJB and messing things up.

This sounds like a bad idea. like the guy that set up a remote starter on his manual tranny car...

And why would you need to be able to turn 'on' the brake lights for a drag race? Get a line lock.
